Description
The 2026 Oyster Perpetual 34 in yellow gold represents a quiet landmark across two dimensions simultaneously. It marks the first time Rolex has applied natural stone hour markers to the Oyster Perpetual family — heliotrope, a deep green semi-precious mineral, set at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions — and the first time the manufacture has finished an all-precious-metal Oyster Perpetual entirely in a satin texture rather than the conventional combination of brushed and polished surfaces. For collectors who follow Rolex’s material vocabulary closely, both decisions signal a deliberate repositioning of the 34mm solid gold Oyster Perpetual toward a more restrained, tactile luxury register.
The 34mm yellow gold Oyster case carries a domed bezel and yellow gold screw-down crown, with the case and three-link Oyster bracelet finished uniformly in a soft satin texture — a first for an all-gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual. The white lacquer dial presents yellow gold baton hour markers throughout, with three ogive-cut heliotrope stone indexes at the quarter positions, their deep green tones providing chromatic counterpoint to the warm gold surrounds. Yellow gold dauphine hands and a sapphire crystal complete the dial. Caliber 2232 with silicon Syloxi hairspring powers the movement.
