HeavyWrist FAQ
Buying at HeavyWrist
Every timepiece we sell is inspected and authenticated by our in-house certified specialists before it ever reaches you. Critical components — case, dial, movement, and movement plate — are verified against original manufacturer records, with zero tolerance for non-genuine parts. Each purchase includes a physical HeavyWrist Certificate of Authenticity, personally signed by the specialist who conducted the final inspection. → Authenticity Guarantee
Absolutely. Every pre-owned timepiece in our inventory is cross-referenced against major international loss and theft databases — including The Watch Register — before it is accepted for sale. We verify clear legal provenance as a non-negotiable step in our intake process. If a watch doesn’t clear, it doesn’t enter our inventory — full stop.
Yes. Every product page has a “Make An Offer” button — use it to submit your proposal and our team will respond promptly. We also offer price matching: if you find the same reference in identical condition at a lower price from a verified U.S. dealer, reach out and we’ll do our best to match it.
“Box and Papers” means the watch comes with its original manufacturer packaging and documentation — typically a warranty card or certificate of origin. For Rolex and Audemars Piguet, this is a plastic warranty card; for Patek Philippe and Richard Mille, a paper certificate. Complete documentation confirms provenance and has a meaningful impact on long-term resale value.
Yes, and we’d love to have you. We recommend scheduling an appointment in advance so we can ensure the specific pieces you’re interested in are on-site and ready for viewing. Contact our team to book a time that works for you.
Of course. If you’d like a closer look at a specific reference before committing, contact us with the reference number and we’ll put together high-resolution macro photography or a detailed video upon request — no obligation.
Yes, and this is always clearly disclosed in the listing — you’ll never be surprised. Even without original box or manufacturer documentation, every such watch still comes with a HeavyWrist premium presentation box, a signed Certificate of Authenticity, and a HeavyWrist Warranty Card. You receive full confidence in what you’re buying, regardless of original papers.
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible at sales@heavywrist.com. Cancellations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on where your order is in the processing workflow — the sooner you reach out, the better.
Payment & Pricing
We accept three payment methods: bank transfer, credit card, and cryptocurrency via NOWPayments. Bank transfer reflects the base price. Credit card carries a 3% processing fee. Cryptocurrency payments — including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, XRP, BNB, and more — receive a 2% discount. The applicable adjustment is applied automatically at checkout. → Payment Options
It comes down to processing costs. Card transactions carry merchant fees on our end, which is reflected in the 3% surcharge. Crypto payments have significantly lower overhead, and rather than keeping that margin, we pass the 2% savings directly to you.
The luxury watch market is dynamic, and listed prices can fluctuate based on supply and demand. That said, once you place your order and payment is confirmed, your price is locked — no adjustments, no exceptions. The same applies to any price agreed through the “Make An Offer” feature.
Exchange rates at checkout are locked for a set window — typically 60 minutes. If your payment is sent after the timer expires, or if it’s delayed on the blockchain, don’t worry — contact our support team immediately with your transaction hash and we’ll manually verify and process your order.
For orders within the United States, sales tax is collected where required by law and calculated automatically at checkout. For international orders, import duties, customs fees, and any applicable local taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before purchasing if you have questions about your destination. → Shipping & Delivery
All purchases at HeavyWrist require payment in full. We do not offer financing or installment plans at this time.
Yes. If you’re looking to purchase more than one piece, reach out to our team directly and we’ll work with you on the best available terms for a multi-item order.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship to 60+ countries worldwide. Every order goes through a pre-shipment inspection and photo documentation process — typically 2–4 business days — before it’s handed to the carrier. U.S. domestic orders generally arrive within 1–5 business days. International shipments take 3–14 business days depending on destination and customs processing. You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. → Shipping & Delivery
Yes, and we’re happy to do it. Simply include your exact wrist circumference in the order notes at checkout, and our watchmakers will size the bracelet to fit before dispatch — at no extra charge. Any removed links will be included in the box so you always have them.
Yes. Contact our team in advance to confirm whether your item is currently on-site. If it’s at the showroom, pickup can be arranged right away. If not, we can transfer it to the showroom upon request — this requires a deposit or full payment in advance. All the details are coordinated directly with your manager, so just reach out and we’ll take it from there.
Every shipment leaves our facility fully insured for its declared value. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, contact us within 5 business days of the expected delivery date. We’ll handle the carrier claim on your behalf and arrange either a full refund or a replacement — you’re fully protected from the moment the order ships.
Returns & Warranty
You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to return any eligible item. The watch must be unworn and unaltered, with all original security tags attached and all documentation included — packaging, HeavyWrist Certificate of Authenticity, and Warranty Card. HeavyWrist covers return shipping and provides a prepaid label. Please note: brand-new watches are eligible for return only if the item received does not match its listing description. To initiate a return, email us at sales@heavywrist.com with your order number. → Returns & Refunds
Once your returned item arrives and clears our final quality inspection, refunds are issued within 3–5 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers and crypto settlements may have slightly varying clearing times depending on the institution or network.
Brand-new watches include the original manufacturer’s warranty plus an additional 2-year HeavyWrist warranty. Pre-owned watches come with a 2-year HeavyWrist warranty covering mechanical and movement defects. Hermès bags are covered by a 1-year HeavyWrist warranty. All warranty claims — regardless of your location — include free two-way shipping worldwide. → Warranty
Watches: Covered: movement malfunctions, crown failure, bracelet or clasp failure under normal use, internal condensation, manufacturing defects. Not covered: cosmetic damage, scratches, normal wear and tear, water damage from misuse, impact damage, or repairs performed by unauthorized third parties.
Hermès Bags: Covered: hardware failure (locks, clasps, fastenings), stitching separation, leather delamination, manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship. Not covered: scratches, patina on hardware, normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or negligence, or repairs performed by unauthorized third parties.
All modern pre-owned watches are pressure-tested as part of our inspection process. That said, water resistance naturally degrades over time as gaskets age — even on watches that pass testing. If you plan to regularly submerge your watch, we strongly recommend having the gaskets professionally checked and replaced on an annual basis.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@heavywrist.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Our team will arrange a secure return and resolve the matter through repair, replacement, or a full refund — whichever is appropriate.
