Description
The Balancier 3 marks a pivotal moment for Greubel Forsey. After nearly two decades, the Atelier set out to engineer an entirely new timepiece — more accessible in proportions and intent, yet still 100% hand-finished to the standards that define the maison. Joining the Convexe collection, it represents Greubel Forsey’s most attainable creation while preserving the architectural language, signature large balance wheel, and exhaustive finishing protocols collectors expect. Limited to 88 pieces across the 2024–2028 production cycle, the Balancier 3 is positioned as a gateway into one of the rarest and most exacting names in modern independent watchmaking.
The 41.5mm titanium case, measuring 13.55mm in height, features the ovoid Convexe profile and introduces a brand-first detail: screwless lugs. The blue dial reveals three prominent bridges housing the barrel, the 12.6mm balance wheel between four and six o’clock, and the openworked bridge supporting the hour and minute hands. Small seconds at eight rotate via a hand-satinated disc. The manual-wind movement delivers a 72-hour power reserve, indicated on the caseback, completed by a blue rubber strap.
