Produced between 2016 and 2021, part of Black Label Collection representing F.P.Journe’s most exclusive offering created specifically for existing F.P.Journe watch owners only with limited annual production of approximately 900 timepieces per year available exclusively through F.P.Journe boutiques and espaces worldwide. The Quantième Perpétuel displays exact date by automatically taking into account variable length of months and leap-year cycle representing one of masterpieces of watchmaking art where movement has real mechanical memory of 1,461 days or four years, with mechanism based on differential gear system including several hundred components. Unlike perpetual calendars that are often difficult to adjust, the F.P.Journe Quantième Perpétuel presents distinctive aesthetic compared to all existing perpetual calendars offering perfect readability through uncluttered dial with large apertures and instantaneous jump reinforced by ingenious F.P.Journe system designed to accumulate energy and release it instantaneously when date, day, or month changes.

The 40mm platinum case (also available in 42mm) measures 10.85mm overall height with three-position winding crown and discreet protected corrector lever hidden beneath lug at 1 o’clock for rapid correction of months facilitating adjustment over four years without any specific tool. Blackened gold dial features whitened guilloché silver elements with central hours and minutes hands, centered small leap year indicator hand showing years 1, 2, 3 in black with L for leap year shown in red, day and month displays in two apertures at 12 o’clock, large date in double aperture at 6 o’clock representing specificity of F.P.Journe watches, retrograde power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, rhodium-plated steel hands. Automatic-winding Caliber 1300.3 crafted entirely in 18k rose gold features perpetual calendar with instantaneous jump, unidirectional automatic winding via off-center 22k gold guilloché rotor with self-blocking ball bearing system where every infinitesimal movement of wrist is maximally exploited for optimized winding, balance with four adjustable inertia weights, Anachron free-sprung flat balance spring, mobile stud holder, Nivatronic laser-soldered balance spring, pinned GE stud, barrel with slipping spring, frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, power reserve of 160 hours plus or minus 10 hours (effective over 120 hours), circular graining on 18k gold baseplate, circular Côtes de Genève on 18k gold bridges, polished screw heads with chamfered slots, pegs with polished rounded ends.
